Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, I grew up with a deep love for fashion. For me, Los Angeles was a city filled with original and eccentric pieces, whether observed walking the streets, hanging in a vintage thrift store, or worn on the big screen.
During high school, I taught myself how to sew and to create new and fresh garments using old clothes as fabric. I took advantage of every opportunity to style outfits and looks, from helping family members and friends, to working special events. Soon, this hobby became an all consuming passion.
While studying at the University of Arizona, I realized that I wasn't in it - it didn't scream fashion, nor was it inspiring. So I moved to New york city and began taking classes at the Fashion Institute of Technology. It was there where I would get thrown into the deep end and learn how to swim among peers and mentors (and a city that never sleeps) who love fashion as much as I do. New York City is also the place that would soon inspire me to start my own business.
Once settled in New York City, I started working in retail at a store called LF, and then moved to Aritzia where I quickly rose to a Senior Style Advisor. Simultaneously, I managed a variety of boutique stores around the city, worked along side other established stylists, and began my freelance journey as a head stylist, allowing me to collaborate with amazing photographers, designers, and even a few celebrities. But I was ready for more. More responsibility. More creative control. More independence. I decided to be my own boss and build a place that would allow my skills, passion, and individuality to merge as one.
My business is now international, helping artists and magazines create original pieces around the world.... to share with the world.
I have worked with a number of talented people, included (but not limited to), Clinton Kane (music artist), Robinson Cano (MLB athlete), and Quincy Brown (artist and actor). I have styled events such as red carpets, world tours, press and interviews, and editorial and music video shoots as well as everyday looks for friends and clients from my retail career. I am deeply in-love with the creative process of getting to know my clients and helping curate a style that is unique, and helps them feel confident and authentically themselves.
